Activity Terms

  • Any activity carried out at FullJet is subject to a contract.
  • When signing the contract, the customer declares to have read these general conditions of sale.
  • The client attests on his honor to have the minimum physical aptitude required for the activity.
  • The client declares that he has no contraindications for the practice of nautical activities.
  • The client declares that he has not undergone a surgical operation in the last 3 months.
  • The client declares that she is not pregnant.
  • Any false statement terminates any possibility of coverage by the service provider’s insurance in the event of an accident.
  • The client undertakes to respect the instructions given by the instructor during the briefing, in particular: the rules of navigation.
  • The customer declares not to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or illicit products.
  • The customer acknowledges having been informed of the bodily injury guarantee.
  • Customers who are not 16 years old on the date of rental cannot pilot a PWC (Personal Watercraft).
  • Any deposit paid remains acquired.
  • The customer declares to take the vehicle in perfect condition.
  • The deposit is 1500 euros. It will not be returned in the event of immobilization of the PWC by the tenant (breakage, accident, seizure…) without prejudice to the total reimbursement of the costs incurred which are not guaranteed by the insurance of the nautical base.
  • The client undertakes to respect the instructor’s instructions and the rules of navigation.
  • Failure to comply with these obligations and the instructor’s instructions releases FullJet from any liability.
  • In the event of non-compliance with the instructor’s instructions, the initiation or the hike may be stopped without the possibility of reimbursement of the service.
  • The customer is criminally and civilly responsible for him and the PWC.
  • The customer must not entrust the driving of the rented PWC to a third person, unless the latter has completed the “customer/trainee #2” section of the contract and requires the same respect for the conditions of minimum physical abilities and to be old. over 16 years old.
  • The customer acknowledges having received training on the areas of evolution and the handling of the PWC.
  • The PWCs given to customers are not guaranteed against damage and theft.
  • Bodily injury to the client is not covered by our at-fault accident insurance.
  • Any repair following damage caused voluntarily or involuntarily to the machines or equipment of the nautical base will be the responsibility of the customer. In some cases, he may claim personal insurance.
  • Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Bordeaux.
  • Mediation system for consumer disputes
  • In accordance with articles of the consumer code L611-1 and following and R612-1 and following, it is provided that for any dispute of a contractual nature relating to the execution of the sales contract and/or the provision of services which could not be resolved within the framework of a complaint previously lodged with our customer service, the Consumer may have recourse to mediation free of charge. He will contact the National Association of Mediators (ANM) either by post by writing to 62 rue Tiquetonne 75002 PARIS or by e-mail by completing the online referral form at the following address www.anm-conso.com.

NAVIGATION RULES

  • Wearing a life jacket is compulsory throughout the activity.
  • The customer driving the machine must wear a circuit breaker at all times.
  • Navigation is strictly prohibited in areas reserved for swimming.
  • Be careful, a swimmer’s head is barely visible in the water.
  • Speed is limited to 3 knots in the port.
  • Navigation outside a channel is prohibited in the 300 m zone between the land and the shore.
  • It is forbidden to ride in the anchorage areas.
  • Sailboats and windsurfers have priority.
  • Motorboats have priority when approaching from the right.
  • Boats with a white and blue flag require a passage at least 150 meters (signalling by a diver).
  • Parallel navigation, races between customers are prohibited.
  • The customer must navigate more than 200 meters from any other PWC or boat and
  • The customer acknowledges having been trained about the local navigation conditions by the instructor.
  • The client must always remain in sight of the instructor.
  • For the “Free Zone” activity: the client agrees to respect the initiation zone which will have been indicated to him by the instructor.
  • The contract is drawn up according to French law.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL FITNESS REQUIREMENTS

(according to the legislation in force)

  • Visual acuity: satisfactory; corrective glasses or contact lenses are allowed
  • Hearing acuity: satisfactory; hearing aid tolerated
  • Upper limbs: the gripping function of the upper limbs necessary for driving must be satisfactory
  • Lower limbs: integrity of both lower limbs or integrity of one of the limbs and satisfactory mechanical fitting of the other
  • Satisfactory neuropsychiatric and vascular status
